Misty Mountain is a combination of climbers and local craftspeople working together to design and manufacture the finest climbing harnesses and sewn climbing gear. Our Misty Mountain label means your product is designed and made in the USA, in our folksy, world-class specialty textile operation in the High Country of Western North Carolina. Where it’s made matters to us. These mountains are not only where we live, they’re our backyard playgrounds where we climb, boulder, bike, hike, paddle, fish, and hunt. We believe in climbing, that it’s an activity worthy of pursuit, one that can expand our horizons and provide great connections in our lives. Put another way, if more people went climbing the World would be a better place. We are proud to call the Southern Appalachian Mountain Range our home. It inspires us to continually improve our products and reach new customers with comfortable, durable climbing harnesses and gear.
